At BRICK, we don’t do one-size-fits-all fitness. Why would we? Everyone comes to us with different needs, goals, and objectives. And, we’re 100% dedicated to helping you achieve the results you want.
BRICK‘s skilled coaches have developed a new approach to fitness, building an athletic program that’s comprehensive, inclusive and always challenging. Inside these walls, your safety is always our foremost priority.
Our selection of programs includes CrossFit: The Academy, our educational on-ramping series; B|X, our high-intensity circuit-style workout B|Fit our strength and conditioning program; Yoga, and the BRICK Barbell Club. Regardless of the class or classes you take, you’ll be excited, engaged and always having fun.
At BRICK, we’re about more than just fitness. We’re a family – a family supported by a team of coaches and staff, each dedicated to offering guidance and support to you, every day. Since we believe you deserve the best when you’re giving your best, all our amenities are top of the line.
Here, inside the BRICK walls, things are different. Cheers are louder, smiles are bigger and expectations are higher. That’s why you’ll be able to do a little more, move a little faster and stick with it a little longer.
I remember starting at Propel in September and telling Alex and Cat that I just wanted to have leg muscles. I didn’t grow up playing sports so I have never had an athletic look, but have always wanted it. They said, “Oh, you’ll get those; don’t worry.” I look down at work today and I see a QUAD muscle… like actually showing! Long time goal is happening. Getting stronger and for the first time ever I am seeing visible leg muscles. Hard work pays off, just wanted to share. Thanks to everyone who has encouraged and pushed me! In 2002, I saw a flyer for the Houston Marathon, and thinking out loud I said, “I’d like to run that one of these days!”
My sweet husband’s reply was, “You can’t run a marathon!”
To prove him wrong I started running. I’ll never forget the day I set out for a run — just one mile and I thought I was going to die!
Twelve years and 18 marathons later my running buddy and I crossed the finish line 1 minute apart at 4hours 14 minutes. Both of us aiming to break 4 hours, she started training with CrossFit along with our marathon training. Thinking CrossFit was a little “too out there” for me, I stuck with only running. In January 2015, she beat me across the finish line by 9 minutes… she met our sub-4 hour goal. I missed it and clocked a 4:02. Determined to meet my goal and maybe beat my friend, I decided to give CrossFit a try.
In July 2015, I walked into Propel and met Cat & Alex. “I don’t care about the scale or how much weight I can pick up. I want to be a stronger runner and beat my friend!”
I started attending classes at Propel 2-3 times a week along with my 3-4 days a week running schedule and results started to appear! Yesterday, I completed my 21st marathon in 3 hours and 54 minutes, beating my friend this year by 1 minute! Thanks to all the coaches and members of Propel for helping, cheering and encouraging me to dig deep and reach my goal(s)!
Propel has changed my life… can’t wait to see what this 42-year-old body can do next!Valerie Bossing
